The Process
From your first conversation to audition day, here's what the journey looks like.
Book an Interview
30 minSchedule a one-on-one meeting with our Studio Director. This is an opportunity to discuss your dancer's background, goals, and find the right path forward.
Take a Technique Class
By InvitationTake a class with our Company dancers at the recommended level. This gives us a chance to see your dancer in action and helps them experience our training environment.
Post-Class Meeting
15-20 minAfter the class, meet with the Studio Director to review leveling, discuss next steps, and answer any remaining questions about the program.
Take Company Classes
OptionalAttend Company technique classes leading up to auditions. This is a great way to get comfortable with the team and continue building skills before audition day.
Auditions
July 21 & 22, 2026Official audition days for Season 39 placement are July 21 and July 22, 2026 — book your interview now to get started.
What You'll Walk Away With
Your interview is a relaxed, one-on-one conversation designed to serve your family. Here's what you'll gain.
We'll Understand Their Journey
We'll learn about your dancer's training background so we can build on what they already know.
A Clear Path to Their Goals
Whether it's nationals or simply growing as a performer, we'll map a plan that fits their ambitions.
Recognition of Their Achievements
Competition experience, solos, group wins — we want to celebrate what your dancer has already accomplished.
The Perfect Team Fit
We'll recommend the right level and team based on age, experience, and skill — so your dancer thrives from day one.
Confidence on Audition Day
We'll walk you through exactly what to expect so your dancer walks in prepared, confident, and ready to shine.
Common Questions
Everything you need to know before getting started.
What if my dancer hasn't competed before?
That's completely fine. Many of our Company dancers started right here. The interview process helps us understand where your dancer is and find the right starting point. We have teams for every level from Minis (ages 6-8) through Senior (high school).
What's the time commitment?
It varies by team level. Your interview is the best time to discuss scheduling — we'll walk through the weekly class requirements, competition calendar, and how families balance it all. We work with busy families every season.
What happens if my dancer doesn't make the team?
The interview and technique class help us find the right fit, not just any fit. If The Company isn't the best match right now, we have other great programs: our Premiere Teams (no audition required) offer competition experience with less intensity, and our Community Performance Team is perfect for dancers who love performing without the competition schedule.
What teams are available?
The Company has four teams organized by age: Minis (6-8), Juniors (9-11), Teens (12-14), and Senior (15+/high school). Your Studio Director will recommend the best placement during the interview process. Learn more about The Company →
